The toys the UK is searching for this Christmas
Planning a Christmas present can start with a question about what is catching attention. This report follows the toy lines appearing in the latest TopTenToys Toy Trend Index. It records changes in UK search interest as Christmas approaches, without choosing a present for your family.

What these figures tell parents
A rise means a line received more search interest in the recent two complete weeks than in the four weeks before them. Each percentage compares that line with its own earlier reading. It does not tell us how many people searched, which particular toy they wanted, or why their interest changed.
Use the report as a starting point for a conversation about interests, rather than a prediction of Christmas wishes. A familiar range can include toys with very different age markings and parts. The numbers here describe whole lines, so they cannot settle which edition or set would suit a particular child.
How to read the list
The order follows the published Index, which considers both recent momentum and interest against each line's own year. It is not sorted solely by percentage rise. A line with a larger percentage can therefore appear below one with a smaller change. The full method explains the Index order and its release lifts.
The rise bands come from the same calculation as the weekly edition: slightly, clearly or sharply. Percentages are rounded for display. A high percentage from a small starting point need not represent more searches than a modest change in a familiar range. Google Trends values from separate download batches cannot be compared as absolute quantities.
Dates, refreshes and gaps
This report reads the newest committed Google Trends collection whenever an edition is published. There is no separate Christmas list to edit. The data-to date is the final day of the last complete week measured, while the collection date records when the exports were downloaded. Those dates serve different purposes.
Weekly downloads still need a person until official API access is available. If a collection is more than eight days old, an overdue notice appears here. If the newest collection cannot produce a published Index, the report shows no figures. Older numbers are never substituted and labelled as a new edition.
There is no last-year comparison in this edition. The stored weekly exports cover a rolling year, but do not include both complete matching comparison windows for these terms in 2025 and 2026. Filling the gap with a different term or download scale would give a misleading result.
Use the data in your own reporting
Download the accompanying CSV to keep the figures and their dates together. It contains exactly the lines displayed above, including their published position and rise band. The main Index also offers a history download if you want to check how the weekly list has changed over earlier editions.

Before publishing a story, check the page again for a newer edition. A Christmas forecast here is a dated reading of search interest, not a claim about future purchases.
